Music Im going to make a music magzine aimed at 14-18 year olds. The genre im going to make my magazine on is POP because it is the most common genre in the top charts with a concentrated amount of people listening at a youg age commonly betweem 14-18. Codes and conventions: The genre of pop music came about in the 1950s where, at the time, rock and roll was the most popular music. However, today a lot of the popular music is dance music or rapping. Also, a lot of pop music videos in today's world contain performative routines, vibrant colours and have special effects edited on to them.
